"We have been so blessed to have Remi join our family at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center/Easter Seals of Louisville," said Sara Santo, Occupational Therapist. "The children we serve are motivated by him and have made great progress towards their goals when he has been involved in their therapy. He helps them to work on dressing skills, catching and throwing, coping skills, language and even helps some learn to recognize non-verbal cues in others. We are forever grateful to Paws with Purpose and all of the volunteers and supporters for making this match possible. It is through their donations and the donations of other supporters in the community that he is able to work with the children here."

Remi, our therapy dog, is constantly learning new things to use with the children. He is now a professional at obstacle courses using our gym equipment, and usually ends with a giant splash into the ball pit!

Remi is loved by the children receiving rehabilitation. Remi motivates the children to participate in their strength building exercises, in their coping skills and in recognizing non-verbal cues. Our Speech/Language therapists have children read to Remi and he happily listens to their stories.
